Tips to improve Oil Efficiency of your Car Continued…

Regular check on Car filters: Two most common and important components to ensure 100% engine performance are air filter and petrol filter.

Air Filter plays very vital role to pass clean air to engine that is required for combustion. Car air filter helps to save your car engine from unwanted dust particles, dirt and other Car Air Filterimperfection in air that severely effect the performance of your car engine. Increased dust and dirt particles in the lings of air filter will increase the air resistance and will further restrict the amount of airflow towards car engine.

To over come this, you need to keep regular check on your car Air filter and get them replaced on time. Most commonly, you can get replaced your car filters on every service. But if there is delay then your oil economy will suffer.

Petrol Filter: Generally three types of frictions are possible: Air Resistance, Tyre friction and engine friction.Third type of friction i.e. engine friction completely depends on Car Engine Oil and Petrol Filter.

Engine oil runs through entire engine and ensure smooth functioning of various Car Oil Filtercomponents installed inside. Oil keeps the engine well lubricated and minimize friction. This regular flow of oil through the body of engine becomes weak over the passage of time and looses its smoothness and thickness over time and less smoothness will result in engine friction and that will further effect the overall engine performance. So you need keep check on your car’s engine oil and get it replaced on time to ensure better engine output.

Petrol Filter ensures the petrol flowing from tank to engine is clean and doesn’t contain any dirt, dust particle and is responsible for overall smooth functioning of car engine. Petrol filter usually get exhausted over 3-4 month of time because of engine pressure. So one should get it replaced on time to ensure better output rather than heavy engine repair bills.

Spark Plugs placed inside the engine are responsible for delivering required amount of spark to start the engine. Spark plug placed under highly pressurized location inside engine. Over the time plugs got damaged because of carbon and dirt piles up that effects directly on the spark plug performance and power of engine.Usually they are best between 10-15 thousand Kms and after that you need to get it replaced.

Coasting Your Car: Coating a vehicle is good idea to save fuel. But many people do it in wrong way and they try to coast their vehicle in neutral than in high gear. However the trick is to coast the vehicle in higher gear than neutral. Reason is that when shift to neutral gear cars engine will automatically comes in idle mode and will continue to eat up standard amount of fuel.

Nowadays most of the cars shut off the fuel supply to engine if you coast your vehicle in top gear.

To summarize, you should keep your car clean, get your car wash and engine service on time to ensure smooth drive and maximum efficiency.

The most knowledgeable tip i have found out of these tips was Coasting a vehicle that was quite interesting. I was always under the impression that coasting a vehicle in neutral gear helps to save fuel however the reverse was true :)
I will coast my vehicle in top gear now :D
